The University of Visions

The University of Visions is focused on visions based on
creativity and values, not primarily on visions using new
technologies. Behind each new invention is a human mindset
that will rule and control technologies. A lack of values will
always open the door for extremist views of all kind.

The University of Visions is an interdisciplinary university
using creative techniques and various digital art disciplines
as 3D stills, 2D storyboards, 'Visions Literature' and a 3D
learning architecture.

Furthermore we are focused on research and are a pioneer
in fields that are usually not approached by other universities.
We prepare a pilot scheme for tenants of High-Rise areas.

End of 2019 we developed the infrastructure for realising a
vision with a 'Vision Office' and a 'Virtual Visions Park' as tools
to implement vision schemes in various areas of a society.

Every citizen should have the right for a vision - worldwide

Our approach:

Our approach to studying is different to other universities.

Developing and realising a vision is as challenging as
founding a startup or a charity. Furthermore a vision
will have an outcome on lives of people. Therefore we
are teaching firstly values and help students to a new thinking,
speaking and acting.

Students cannot keep obstacles and challenges from various
backgrounds and from transgenerational life patterns
when parents suffered war experiences and gave special
life patterns to next generation. Both can downsize and
damage visionary thinking dramatically.

Our Courses:

We have a modul system with 4 precourses and a main study.
The precourses are Motivation, Change, Values, Visualisation
and Communication of visions.

Afterwards the vision seminar starts.
All courses are in the moment 3D learning rooms via distance
learning with additional worksheets.

Courses are available here from Spring term 2023.

Recommendation:

We recommend all students to learn basic Html, a Webeditor
where you can access the source code easily, Photoshop and
a 3D software, as for instance Cinema 4D. This is not restrictive
but can speed up the process of realizing a vision. With a 3D or 4D
software you can create the scenario you really mean virtually,
and others can follow you much faster.

Qualification:

As we are in the first stage of an experimental University,
we do not offer degrees. After the study students create a
'Visions Pilot Project' of their own vision, a complex
vision project with all elements to realise a vision. (Description
of the vision, steps, a strategy, vision dramaturgy, before/after
scenarios and visualisations.
